LA-2 Ultrasonic Detector

LA-2 Intelligent Ultrasonic Detector is a portable device fully digitalized in control while it has the function of ultrasonic measurement of thickness. It is able to measure the distance between any two echoes on the screen and show it on the liquid crystal display.

LA-2 adopts the 12cm diagonal oscilloscope tube with internal scale to get rid of scale parallax so the wave amplitude and relative position read from the screen is more accurate. The flat touching key panel controls all functions and status settings of the instrument. The easy operation of the key panel taking the place of traditional switch and potentiometer that decreases the possibility of mechanic trouble in bad circumstances.

LA-2 has an alarm function for “intake/loss echo”. The opening and closing strobe gate and setting up gate width can be done through key panel. The beeper beeps when defect echo is detected. Besides, the instrument also has the lock function of using a key to avoid the detecting parameter change caused by incidental wrong touch of the key.

LA-2 Intelligent Ultrasonic Detector is used for the non-destructive testing of metal and non-metal. It has the specialty of a wide working frequency, high sensitivity of detecting and good stability besides the mention above. The built-in fully sealed battery ensures more than 5 hours of the continuous work of the instrument. This is suitable for mobile work and places without AC power.
